The National Tourism Year is an annual event which aims to promote destinations, attract domestic and international tourists, and develop local tourism. The activities of culture, sports and tourism for the National Tourism Year will take place at different times throughout 2012, including 11 activities organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MOCST) in coordination with other ministries and 9 activities organized by Thua Thien - Hue Province. Besides, many other exciting activities are also organized in the North-Central cities and provinces.
